Some basic frequently asked questions – if you have a question that is not answered here, please feel free to contact All American Dry Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning. We’ll be happy to help you out!
- How often should you clean your carpet?
Once a year we recommend carpet cleaning.
- Can my upholstery be wet cleaned?
Yes and no depending on the cleaning code that the manufacturer recommends.
- Where is the cleaning code located?
Underneath the seat cushion usually if not we have to call the manufacturer.
- Does protectant really work?
Yes it does. It literally beads the stains right off so they don’t penetrate through. However, you must use a spot remover to actually remove them. You just can’t let them sit because you have a protectant applied.
- Does steam cleaning cause mold?
No it does not but the technician doing the work should be vigilant in extracting as much water as possible just so everything dries in a reasonable amount of time.
- Can I walk on my carpets after they are steam cleaned?
Yes in bare feet or socks is fine until it dries.
- Can I sit on my upholstery after steam cleaning it?
No you cannot. You must let it fully dry before you sit on it.
- When is the best time to clean my carpets?
When they are dirty.
